Greetings-
The February Chamber meeting is fast approaching. Soon it will be Spring!
Please mark your calendar and plan to attend the Yorktown Chamber meeting on Tuesday, February 21, 2012. We will be meeting at Osborn's Country Kitchen at 8:00am.
Over the next several days, please think about who you believe would make a good recipient for Chamber recognition this month.
Also, we have added a little something new to the Chamber meeting this month. Notice bullet point "8/VIII." on the attached agenda. The "Hot Topic" for this month will be the "entrance" to Yorktown. Where is it? How would you know? Can it be improved? Is there one? Be prepared to express your thoughts.
Thanks and see you Tuesday.

Message from our President of the Chamber
I just want to congratulate Brendon, Gene, Chris, and Patti on their officers positions. These are a wonderful group of people and I know they will lead the Chamber well.
Also, I want to wish each and everyone of you a blessed Christmas and the best possible New Year. I look forward to our continued efforts to make Yorktown the best it can be.
Thank you for the opportunity you allowed me this past year in being your Chamber president.

Messages from the President of the Yorktown Chamber
Just a quick reminder or two:
1) This coming Saturday, the 10th, is our annual Luminary Festival. The booths open at 12:00 and the parade is at 4:00. It's not too late to be in the parade. Just show up at the Methodist Church parking lot at 3:00. Santa will be arriving in the parade and be 'in the building' until 8:00 pm when the festival ends. Don't forget to vote on your favorite planter arrangement. They are looking wonderful people! You have done Yorktown proud.
2) December 20th is our next meeting and we will be voting for 2012 officers/executive board. Your vote counts only if you are at the meeting. Please make the effort to be at Osborn's that morning at 8:00.
That's it for now. Have an awesome week!
